What a PreHire reference check costs: the price of one check, credit packs, the free first check, how credits work and how VAT applies.
Per-check pricing
A single check costs £9. That covers one candidate, up to ten referees, and one report.

Free first check
When you create your organisation, you receive a free credit — one per company email domain. Use it to run your first check at no cost.
Credits
Credits do not expire. They are returned automatically when a check cannot proceed — for example, if the candidate declines consent or the consent link expires.
VAT
PreHire is not VAT-registered. Prices are inclusive of all charges.
