Credits and pricing
What a credit is, what reference checks cost in packs, how the free first check works, the rules credits follow and how VAT applies.
What is a credit?
A credit is a unit of account. One check uses one credit. Credits are spent when you raise a check and returned automatically when a check cannot proceed.
Pricing

|---|---|---|
| Single | £9 | £9.00 |

- Credits are returned when: the candidate declines consent, consent is withdrawn, the consent link expires, or the employer cancels with no referee contacted
- Credits are not returned once any referee has responded
- Credits are returned when the closing date passes with zero responses
